Instructions:

Cut scrapbook paper to size to fit front of journal (sample has 3” x 3” paper squares). Each piece should cover ¼ of the surface. Adhere to journal.
Glue ribbons horizontally and vertically along paper seams to cover.
Rub inkpad along edges of journal to give it an aged look. Let dry.
Embellish buttons:
- Stitch seed beads to felt heart buttons.
- Knot floss in buttonholes of 4 mini heart buttons.
- Blanket stitch around a small and medium felt heart button. Stitch small buttons to centers.
- Stitch cross stitches on large felt heart button. Glue a ribbon rose to center.
Glue to front of journal as shown in photo. Glue on any additional buttons desired.
Cut several 6” pieces of ribbons, tulle strips, and rick rack. Knot to spiral edge. Trim if desired.
Glue love and laughter tag to center of journal.
