8” length of two ribbons of your choice
Scrapbook paper: green print
Cardstock, any color
Dye ink pad: brown
12” piece green crepe paper streamer
Paper adhesive of choice
Hot glue gun and glue
Self adhesive pin back
Needle and thread
Gold glitter glue
Shamrock template
Small stencil brush
Scissors
Pencil
Instructions:
Cut out shamrock pattern. Trace onto scrapbook paper and cardstock. Cut out both. Glue together.
Use stencil brush and brown ink to age edges of shamrock. Rub ink in a circular motion on edges. Add gold glitter to edges of shamrock. Let dry.
Fold crepe paper streamer in half, lengthwise. With needle and thread, make long running stitches along open edge. Gently pull thread to gather streamer into a rosette. Glue to shamrock.
Loop ribbons. Glue on top of rosette. Trim ribbon ends if desired. Layer and glue green and gold buttons to center of rosette.
Attach pin back to top back of shamrock.
Tips:
Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
Find a shamrock template online or draw one.
Age shamrock as much as you like by adding more or less brown ink to edges.
Substitute a strip of green fabric for crepe paper, if desired.
