Tiger Eye Necklace

Supplies:
  • Precious Elements Buttons: #2515 (2 cards)
  • Gold melon beads: 4 - 12mm, 2 - 8mm, 10 - 5mm
  • Tiger eye beads: 16 6mm round, 50 4mm round, 20” of chips, 1” donut with stringing hole
  • Beading wire
  • Gold crimp tubes
  • 2 - 7mm gold round jump rings
  • Gold toggle clasp
  • Crimping tool
  • 2 pair chain nose pliers
  • Flush cutters

Instructions:
  1. Attach a jump ring to each part of the toggle clasp.
  2. Cut two 20” lengths of wire. Crimp one end of each wire to the jump ring on the toggle circle. Trim wire ends.
  3. String the following:
    • One each wire, string 5” of Tiger Eye chips.
    • Over both wires string an 8mm gold bead and 2 6mm Tiger Eye beads. Repeat 5 times.
    • Over both wires, string a 12mm gold bead.
    • On each wire, string six 4mm Tiger Eye beads. String one wire down through the first buttonhole of Tiger Eye button and up through second buttonhole. String remaining wire up through first buttonhole and down through the second.
    • One each wire, string 6 4mm Tiger Eye beads.
    • Over both wires, string a 12mm gold, 2 6mm Tiger Eye and an 8mm gold.
    • String both wires through the donut, add 2 4mm Tiger eye beads over both wires in the center and string both wires out the other side of the donut.
    • Over both wires, string an 8mm gold, 2 6mm round Tiger Eye and a 12mm gold bead.
    • Repeat the beading process through the second Tiger Eye button.
    • Over both wires, string a 12mm gold bead.
    • On each wire, string 5” of Tiger Eye chips.
  4. Crimp both wires to the jump ring on the toggle bar. Trim wire ends.
Tips:
  • Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
  • Using a jump ring: grab ends of jump ring at either side of cut with pliers. Twist ring open. String through loop of toggle clasp. Twist tightly closed.
  • Adjust length of necklace by adding or subtracting Tiger Eye chips at back of necklace.
  • Before trimming wire ends after crimping, give a good tug to both ends of the wire to be sure crimp is holding tightly.
