Graduation Card Project

Supplies:
  • La Mode® Buttons: #20752 (1 card) & Favorite Findings™ #1210 (1 package)
  • Scrapbooking paper: solid black, two tones of solid gray, graduation theme pattern
  • 6 ½” x 10” white card stock
  • Paper banner: school color
  • Pre-made tassel: school color
  • Beacon Adhesives Dry™ Paper Glue
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Scissors or paper cutter
  • Ruler

Instructions:
  1. Cut the following paper pieces:
    • Dark grey: 6” x 8”
    • Light grey: 5.5” x 7.5”
    • Pattern: 4” x 6”
    • Black: 3” x 3”
  2. Assemble paper pieces including banner.
  3. Glue stars in place.
  4. To add dimension under cap, cut black strip ¼” x 2 ½” and tape together to form circle. Adhere with glue.
  5. Place loop of tassel around shank of black button. Use hot glue to adhere to center of black square. Let dry.
Tips:
  • Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
  • Make your own tassel with embroidery floss and craft wire if one cannot be found in your school color.
