3 - 10” pieces of ⅛” satin ribbon in colors to coordinate
Acrylic paint and flat paintbrush (optional)
Hot glue gun and glue
Instructions:
Make 6 - 7 stacks of buttons using a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Use needle and floss to stitch stacks to door hanger.
Tuck a couple floral leaves under and betwen button stacks. Stitch in place.
Knot three ribbons together in the center. Stitich into button bouquet.
Stitch additional buttons on door hanger for accents.
Optional: paint wooden dowel or other parts of door hanger to personalize.
Optional: glue button stacks, leaves and ribbons to place instead of stitiching.
Tips:
Refer to photo for placement and assembly ideas.
Stitch on a button with floss: thread needle. Stitch down through one buttonhole and door hanger, and up through other buttonhole. Knot floss ends together and trim.
