Supplies:
Damask by La Mode®: #1168 (2 cards)
La Mode® Rhinestone: #47172 (1 card)
White card stock, 2-3 sheets
Hot glue gun and glue
Scissors
Papercutter (optional)
Ruler
Pencil
Additional for Invitation:
Scrapbook paper: black/silver to coordinate
Vellum
12” - 1 ½” satin ribbon: gray or silver
Paper adhesive of choice
Computer/printer
Additional for Guest Book:
Guest book or photo album
Fabric: light color or pattern to coordinate with button, solid black
12” - 1 ½” black wired ribbon
Instructions:
Invitation:
Print invitation on white cardstock. Cut out to desired size. Measure and cut a piece of scrapbook paper 2” larger in height and width. Center invitation on scrapbook paper. Adhere in place.
Measure and cut vellum the same size as scrapbook paper backing.
Through all layers, punch two holes on either side of center, near top of invitation.
From the back, pull ribbon through holes in paper and vellum. Tie bow. Dovetail ends of ribbon.
Hot glue rhinestone button to damask button. Glue both to center of bow.
Photo Album/Guest Book:
Measure inside of cover. Cut two pieces from white cardstock. Set aside.
Cover book with fabric. Lay open book on fabric. Cut fabric 1” larger on all sides. Wrap fabric around cover, hot gluing to inside covers.
Cut black fabric 2” taller than book cover x width of book. Pleat with 5 pleats. Wrap vertically around front cover of book, adhering ends inside front cover. Glue cardstock pieces to inside covers.
Pull wires from both ends of one side of wired ribbon. Gather into rosette, twist wires together to secure. Hot glue center of pleated fabric.
Hot glue rhinestone button to damask button. Glue both buttons to center of rosette.
