Cut 2 pieces of coordinating red print fabric 7 ½” x 17” and one piece 13” x 17”.
Trace and cut out 6 circles from coordinating green print fabrics: three 9” diameter, two 8” diameter, and one 7” diameter.
Make each fabric circle into a yo-yo: With needle and thread make running stitches close to the outside edge. Pull the thread tightly to gather the fabric, flattening with gather on front center. Knot pulled threads to hold. Trim thread.
On machine, stitch 2 smaller pieces of red fabric together along long edges. This is the pillow front. Assembly put right sides together with large red piece. Stitch around 3 sides to create pillow cover.
Stack buttons in center of each yo-yo. Stitch in place. Stitch or glue yo-yos in place along center seam of pillow front.
