Instructions:
Cut 25 2” squares of scrapbook paper. Adhere 5 pieces to each block. Rub ink pad along edges of blocks to antique.
Wrap ribbon around each block, glue in place.
Glitter letters by coating with white glue and sprinkling fine glitter on top. Let set until dry.
Glue a letter to front of each block.
Tie floss in buttonholes of 5 buttons: green in red buttons, red in green buttons. Knot floss on top. Trim floss ends. Glue a button to front of each block.
Cut 10” lengths of craft wire: 2 red, 2 green, 1 gold. Grab end of wire with pliers. Wrap to form a loop, continue wrapping into a spiral. Shape remaining wire freehand as shown, adding glitter buttons, E beads, and additional loops. Repeat with four remaining wires.
Drill hole in center top of each block. Dip ends of wires in glue, insert into holes in blocks.
Tips:
Refer to photo for placement and assembly ideas.
To add interest, make each of the 5 wires different.
Instead of drilling, try hammering a thin nail into block. Remove nail to reveal a hole for the wire to sit in.
Add your favorite cards, photos or notes to the spirals at the tops of the wires.
