Supplies:
  • 4 ½” x 4 ½” x 2” square white box with lid
  • 1 Favorite Findings™ Big Bag of Buttons (#2001 Rainbow)
  • ½ yd. ⅝” ribbon to coordinate with button colors
  • 1 pony bead
  • White embroidery floss or string
  • Tacky glue

Instructions:
  1. Beginning at the center of the back side, glue the ribbon around the sides of the box.
  2. Select 4 jumbo buttons and 4 large buttons to decorate the sides of the box. Position a large button on top of the jumbo button and thread floss through center holes. Knot the floss securely at the back of the large buttons. Glue a large stacked button to each top corner of the box.
  3. To make the handle for the top of the box, stack together 9 buttons, alternating colors and sizes. Starting at the bottom of the handle, thread floss through one of the center holes. Thread the bead onto the floss at the top of the handle. Continue to thread floss through the other side of the center hole in each button. Knot the floss securely at the bottom of the handle. Glue the stacked button handle to the top of the box.
  4. For the box legs, glue together 4 stacks of buttons, alternating colors and sizes of buttons. Make sure each leg is the same height. Glue legs to the bottom corners of the box.
